Wondering where you can go to see a massive sunflower field? There is one near Toronto with an hour and a half drive to the north beside Lake Simcoe.
Sunflower blooming season is relatively short and different farms have different blooming period. Generally, the sunflower bloom during the summer into autumn, it could be as early as July and ending as late as October.
The Sunflower Farm is a fairly new farm and they started to open to public this summer. According to the information provided by the workers, they have the largest sunflower farm in Durham Region with 10-acre sunflower field.

The newest update on the farm, the farm is now closed as their sunflower blooming season has ended but they will be opening in October for opening hours to purchase seeds at their Sunflower Birdseed Event!
